first off i am a newbie, winnipeg, manitoba canada

i've had my f1 for a little over two years

i recently discovered a small tear approx 8 to 10 mm where the rubber meeting the metal connector to the body of the watch.

is just the rubber replaceable cause a completely new strap is about 180 here.

i was thinking of just getting the strap removed and rotated to the other side cause the bone on my wrist its kinda big, thats why i think it got teared a bit. i just dont want it to completely wrip apart.

this ever happen to anyone ?? i will try to get a picture up in the next day or two

thanks !!

Hi Dallas and welcome.
When you buy a new strap for the Williams it comes with a new clasp as well.
The sing lugs are considered a part of the watch case and do not come with the strap.
The rubber straps have a stiffener molded into the part of the strap that connects to the lug and this can occasional snap if the strap has been handled with some force. This causes the strap to become weaker at that point, other than that the straps are very durable.
Life is not about how many breaths you take but the moments that take your breath away.

the tear is quite minor i dropped some rubber crazy glue in it (cause its on the back side and its solid now and you only can see the clear glue if you take the watch off and look and it. so far so good.
