New Range of Oris Watches

That’s it; I have finally decided what additional Oris range is required.  There is no need for consultation, focus groups, user testing, I have made up my mind and it is a winner.

 Last Sunday afternoon in the depths of winter here in south east Queensland it was a perfect 25 degrees Celsius and not a cloud in the sky.  This is how every day should be, as close to perfect as you can get.  So I joined my friends for a drink at the marina down on the broadwater on the Gold Coast.  A cool beer in my hand, the sun in the bluest of blue skies, great friends laughing over a joke what more could you ask for?  Only thing more amazing than this day were the boats floating in the marina, amazingly spectacular boats that inspire dreams of more perfect days.

 You know the kind of boats I am talking about, boats that are owned by people who control oil companies, computer empires and some rap stars I have never heard of but is amazingly successful for some reason.  Not only motor yachts but sailing yachts as well, beautiful slick lines that cut through the oceans’ waves on race day, or cruise the Greek isles when time is not an issue.  As the sun reflexes of the water and the polished decks of these boats I thought there is no other option for a new range for Oris than the Yachting range.

 Perhaps it was a couple too many beers but I thought it was a moment of genius.  Think of the possibilities of different watches that can fit in this range.  Watches for race days as well as limited editions to celebrate great races in the past.  Watches for cruising days around the great island groups of the world, the Caribbean, the Whitsundays, the Amalphi coast, there are an ocean more different cruising destinations that can all be included.

 Consider a range of watches from Oris that can take you away to those great locations of the world without leaving your office, amazing.  This is a range of watches that Oris need to bring to market.  I can see myself now at the helm of one of these great yachts, sun setting, wind in my hair and my new Oris Yacht Flybridge GMT Date on my wrist as I negotiate the islands along the Croatian coast.

 What a perfect day!
